Project Overview: Spilldoc Singapore executed a comprehensive environmental protection project at the prestigious Caribbean at Keppel Bay condominium, situated in District 4, Singapore. The project entailed removing existing oil spill containment booms, responsibly disposing of them, and installing new, advanced Spilldoc Permanent Oil Spill Containment Booms Part Number: SDPOSCB610 across three key canal areas: Empress Pier, Central Pier, and Queens Pier.

 

Challenges & Objectives: The project involved careful planning and coordination to ensure minimal disruption to residents, compliance with safety standards, and effective environmental protection. Given the residential nature of the site, all removal and installation work required meticulous planning and safety protocols to ensure seamless execution and community satisfaction.

Project Execution: Spilldoc meticulously prepared by first conducting detailed inspections to strategize the removal of old containment booms. A robust safety briefing and stringent safety measures were implemented, including the provision and use of appropriate PPE, and clear safety signage to cordon off active work areas. Additionally, certain critical operations were strategically conducted during nighttime hours to minimise disturbance to residents.
