Floating Silt curtains are floating barriers used in marine construction, dredging, and reclamation projects to control the silt and sediment in a body of water,is be also referred to as Turbidity Screen,Silt Boom,Sediment Curtain,Silt Boom etc. Silt curtains can be set up to keep construction areas in compliance and protect the environment.
 
Spilldoc Silt Curtain Skirt is made by permeable or impermeable fabric and are fabricated to any size that will fit your specific application.

Type 3 Silt Curtain should be used in areas where considerable current (up to 3 knots or 5 feet per second) may be present, where tidal action may be present, and/or where the curtain is potentially subject to wind and wave action. Floating Silt Curtains are used to control and contain silt and sediment within an immediate work area, thereby preventing anything from floating outside of the dredging area and affecting marine life. Floating Silt Curtains protect our waters and environment.

Type 3 DOT Heavy Duty and Tidal Water Floating Silt Curtains are normally used by DREDGING CONTRACTORS working in PORTS and surrounding waters.

 Application:

Floating Silt Curtains are available in 20m per section or any custom length up to 20m. The skirt can be as deep as required  by project requirements.

NOTE: Float size is determined by skirt depth and or your job requirements.
